The lack of one of the most basic moves in the golf swing costs you distance, accuracy and a long list of potential problems. That simple move? Get off your back foot during your downswing and follow through. End up like a ballet dancer -- or a tennis player, a baseball pitcher, bowler. When you're up on your back toe that means you've transferred your weight to your front foot, you've probably finished your swing quite well, and your ball is sailing off in the distance, right down the middle. Seems simple enough, right? Yet the majority of amateurs stay back. For more distance, more accuracy, get off that back foot!
