Now that the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states in the U.S. have dug out of the snow, it's time to face facts. Playing golf in the cold is slightly different. Other than your comfort level, there really is a difference when the temperature drops. It affects the characteristics of the ball, it affects your distance.
