When I was working for my mentor, golf legend Ken Venturi, I asked him how often a golfer should check in with his teaching pro. I always chuckle at his answer. He told me, "about as often as you change the oil in your car." While cars have definitely changed since he gave that advice, what he meant still holds true: When the season changes, go see your pro. That's a a good rule of thumb. Don't wait until your game falls apart and the game becomes painful.

Keep on top of your game. See your PGA pro. And like I always say ... Enjoy the game again,
