Here's a nice little trick to knock strokes off your card. Take aim at a tee. Before your game, spend 10 minutes putting at a tee. The (immediate) difference in your score will amaze you. Simple stuff, right?
The golf bag give-away was a roaring success! Thanks to all who entered. We'll have more. Tell your friends.
Enjoy the game again,
Steve
P.S. We apologize for the technical difficulties (I guess we were one of about 100,000) last week, especially to the hundreds of you who tried (unsuccessfully) to order my new 60 minute tips video. Click here and you won't have any more problems!

I got a great swing question today from Roger H. He’s getting some hooks with his off-set driver and wanted to know what to work on.
Ok, First. An off-set driver is designed to help stop a slice. The head is back about 1/2 inch so it gives it more time to square up.
However, this slight off set shouldn’t cause a big hook.
A hook is hitting the ball with the club face being closed. Can’t hook a ball any other way. Most people close the face because their legs are a little slow in leading the downswing so the arms and clubface are taking over. If the legs don’t go, then the arms, hands and club come over too much. Roger I’d work on getting your lower body leading and starting the downswing just a bit sooner. If the legs are leading then the club will come down just a wee bit later and you won’t over close the face. Try it out and let me know.
Hi “from downunder AUZ”
Another fabulous idea, ta. Since incorporating Steve A’s trigger finger, my putting has been very very solid. Not fabulous, just very solid.
I am sure the above tip as well as previous ones will ensure I achieve the “BIG FAB” real soon.
