As many of you know, I like my students to use a sand wedge when pitching. A sand wedge has "bounce" and keeps the club from getting stuck in the grass. But when you find yourself on hard pan you need the edge of the pitching wedge to get under the ball and onto the green. This is one of those shots that will make you master of the short game.

For all my lefties out there we're putting the final touches on our new member site, www.golfleft.com. It's the only teaching site on the web devoted to lefties and is definitely exciting.
