Most golfers have the horrible habit of what is known as the "flying elbow" when it comes to the top of the backswing. It's almost "natural." It's also the reason most golfers slice. the "dishes on the tray" (in this case a glass) drill will cure you of this problem in a matter of seconds.

You don't nee a tray of dishes. Use a golf ball, a clip board, your significant other's chrystal salt and pepper shakers, and in seconds you'll learn the correct poistion of your back arm position at the top of your backswing.  Be careful ...
