If I had just one chance to help a golfer improve his or her swing, it would be this: Maintain your spine angle. I know, I know, I always say, "Keep it simple." So here's an easy way to remember this most important part of your swing.
You want to bend at the waist about 30 degrees. Pretend you're bowing to the Queen of England (ladies, don't "curtsy" ... bow. Keep the "bow" from your back swing to your follow through, coming out of it as you finish. Then enjoy it when your foursome says, "Wow!"
Enjoy the game again,
Steve

Thanks playing better now after your lessons than before. Love the books. Why? Because its just like having you stand in front of me. California bill
36 wow, I want strokes. Timely improvement for your oversees trip. Have fun if I don’t see you and if you do see the Queen while you’re over there you can practice the bow.
Very timely segment, Steve, and well-explained. EXACTLY what you and I have been working on for the previous 2 lessons. Light bulb finally went on for me — maintaining my “chinese bow” through impact (which has heretofore not been intuitive to me) for my last 3 rounds has yielded noticeably better ball striking. Even logged in my first 9 hole 36 a week ago!! Moral: Old dogs can indeed be taught new tricks.
